18c.ANTIQUE CAST FORGED IRON FLINT STRIKER FIRE STARTER
Ladies and Gentlemen, we are pleased to offer this week, from an outstanding private collection, an ultra rare and early 18th century Revolutionary War era Hand-forged Iron Flint Striker/Fire Starter ~ in classic traveling shape.
A piece of flint would have been struck against the bottom edge of the striker to produce a spark, and thus a flame.
Very good antique condition.
