BULGARIAN CAVALRY GOLD BADGE ORDER PETRUNOV CERTIFICATE
Ladies and Gentlemen, we are pleased to offer this week from an outstanding private Militaria Collection, an ultra rare original c.1929 Document for First Class Pure 14Karats Gold Badge "OUR CAVALRY FUND", it was given for extraordinary merits and participation in Bulgarian - Serbian War of 1885 and WWI.
Document was presented to Colonel Hristo Petrunov ~ Commander of FIRST Cavalry Unit of His Majesty Alexander Battenberg Prince of North and South Bulgaria and high Commander of Military Forces of Principality Bulgaria.
The document is issued on the 15th of April 1929 in Sofia, Principality Bulgaria.
We are selling only the document without the Gold Badge.
It bears the signatures of Chairman of the FUND Colonel Zlatev and Secretary Rottmeister DOCHEV.
Document bears the stamp of OUR CAVALRY FUND.
More about the Cavalry Unit ~ it was under command of Colonel Petrunov and was settled in Town of Samokov, suburbs of Sofia.
In early morning of August, 2nd 1887 Colonel Petrunov was forced to come from Samokov to Sofia together with his Cavalry Unit and obey to New order of the Riot against Prince Alexander Battenberg.
The Riot led to successful coronation of His Majesty Prince Ferdinand Sax-Coburg-Gotha on Aug.
2nd 1887 in Veliko Tarnovo ~ Old Capital of Principality Bulgaria.
